"The Park model in Layton is a soft transitional look with a few BOLD modern accent pieces! We wanted to highlight the amazing double story living room with all of the natural light pouring in through the many windows by adding dark shiplap floor to ceiling on the fireplace. You’ll also notice the modern tension-cable open railing overlooking from the upstairs hallway to the main living room adding yet another BOLD and modern element. We kept the kitchen light and bright with white cabinets and white quartz while bringing in a warm-stained island to keep it grounded and inviting. Although who could forget the white apron front sink and large brushed gold pendants at the island – definitely the show stopping pieces of the kitchen!
As you walk through the home you’ll see a balance of neutral and warm tones with pops of pattern and color. Fun, geometric tile makes an appearance in the secondary bathroom, while elegant, polished marble tile fills the master bathroom for that high-end owner’s suite feel. One of the main highlights of the home is definitely the spacious basement rec room which allows an assortment of possibilities – ping pong table, theater area, kids play room, you name it! We added fun large-scale painted stripes as well as a large sectional and coffee table to enhance the amazing rec space offered with this floor plan. The Park model is quickly becoming one of our favorite homes and we hope you enjoy all the fun and BOLD elements as much as we do!"
